Chatting with Agents
Conversations, voice input, and getting human help.
Starting a conversation
Open Conversations from the left rail. Start a new conversation or continue an existing one — your history is listed on the left with previews, timestamps, and unread indicators. Search finds past conversations by content.
In the conversation
- Type in the message box and press Enter — responses stream in live.
- Attach files where enabled; thumbnails appear with your message.
- Voice input: click the microphone to dictate your message (speech-to-text), available in supported browsers.
- Messages support rich formatting — lists, tables, code, and links render properly.
- Conversation starters and suggested questions ("icebreakers") may appear for a new conversation to help you begin.
Talking instead of typing
If your organization enabled voice, you can hold a live voice conversation with the agent — start voice mode, speak naturally, and see the transcript as you go. Mute and speaker controls are available during the session.
When a human steps in
Some questions get escalated to a human support agent. The handoff happens inside the same conversation — you'll see the person join, and you may receive an incoming call notification if they start a voice call. Nothing changes for you: keep chatting in the same thread.
