Creating an Application
Start a new app from scratch or generate one from a requirements document.
Applications live under Apps in the Solutions sidebar. The list shows every app in your enterprise; use the All / Mine filters, search, and sorting (newest, oldest, A–Z, Z–A), and the pin icon to keep your most-used apps at the top. Shared is a placeholder — it isn't available yet.
Grid and list views are both available. List view adds columns for entry point, agent count, channel (Web or Voice), status, and who last edited the app.
Creating an app
Click + New Application (top right) and fill in two fields:
- App name — 4 to 64 characters
- Description — required, up to 500 characters
That's the whole form. Everything else — goals, objects, agents, dashboards — is built afterwards in the App Workspace.
What happens next
You land in the App Workspace — the workbench where the app takes shape. From there you add goals, extract objects, attach agents, add a Pulse dashboard, and finally publish the app through a channel so users can reach it.
App lifecycle
- Apps show a Published badge once live; the version number is visible on each web entry point.
- The ⋮ menu on an app card offers Edit app details (rename, change the description), Configure voice channel, and Delete app.
- Deleting an app is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Pinned apps stay at the top of the grid for whoever pinned them — pins are per-user, so yours don't affect anyone else's view.
